Position: Cook II
We are looking for someone with food preparation and cooking experience to join our Team! This is a part-time position. If you have a passion for working with elders and want a role where you can make a positive impact on the lives of others, then this is the position for you!

Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED. One - two years in quantity food production required. Must have current SERV Safe Food Safety Handler Certification.
· Work well in a team environment.
· Ability to communicate with others in a professional manner.
· Be compassionate and have a friendly disposition.
· Ability to communicate effectively.
Position Summary:The Cook II is responsible for preparing and cooking meals for residents, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities:
1. Display performance standards which reflect the mission statement of St. Francis Convent.
2. Prepare meals and Cook on the days when not responsible for food prep.
Hours of Position:
5:30 am – 2:00 pm when responsible for cooking
6:00 am – 2:30 pm when responsible for food prep.
3. Help prepare trays and therapeutic diets
4. Assist with special events.
5. Supervises food service workers as directed by Lead Cook when the Lead Cook and Cook are not on duty.
6. Performs other tasks as assigned.
