Acadia Healthcare-River Place Behavioral Health is looking for a Part-Time Cook position. This position requires food preparation and service of quality meals to our patients and staff. We are looking for someone with cooking experience in a commercial setting. The qualified candidate will have a "can-do" attitude and love serving others.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Cook, prepare, and serve food according to approved menus.
- Clean equipment, kitchen appliances and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
- Perform food production and cleaning activities.
- Follow established policies and procedures, quality standards, and appropriate regulatory requirements.
EXPERIENCE:
- Two or more years’ experience in food service role in preparing food for institutions, such as school, hospital or cafeteria preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS:
- ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification preferred.
Experience
Preferred- High school diploma or equivalent required with additional education or training in the culinary field preferred. Two or more years’ experience in food service role in preparing food for institutions, such as school, hospital or cafeteria preferred. ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification, where required by the state, facility.
