Thank you for your interest in the openings our residential group homes for adults with serious mental illness. This position is located in Moulton / Lawrence Co. This is a Monday - Friday, day shift (7:00am - 3:00pm) position. Provide coverage when staff out sick. Please review the job description below.
·DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate overall operations of Residential Care Home to include: arranging mental health and medical services for the residents; conducting individual, group, or family counseling as needed; transporting clients; arranging community activities, and discharge planning. Will serve as liaison between the Residential Care Home and the Counseling Center and other clinical service providers. Responsible for assisting in the development of residents’ treatment plans, and the implementation of those plans as they apply to the residential setting. Assure billing of service, as appropriate, completed daily.
· Insuring that all applicable standards of care are followed to include accurate documentation.
· Oversee the planning of menus within the Residential Care Home, and the preparation of shopping lists, and food purchasing. Will insure that general maintenance of the home is maintained.
· Housekeeping. (Examples of tasks: Perform cleaning of group home in conjunction with residents and other group home staff; monitor client assigned tasks; scheduled periodic thorough cleaning projects; identify repair needs.)
· Will develop a working knowledge of community resources offering services of benefit to residential clients.
· Participates in team effort of Residential Division. (Examples of tasks: staff cases with other division members; back up other division members as needed. Other duties as assigned.)
· Maintain safe and therapeutic environment; assure regular fire drills, weather alert drills; report any risk issues related to safety of client; supervise and assist with cleaning of group home.
· Is responsible for the storage and protection of all records at the Moulton-Janus. (Examples of tasks: pulls and files charts, follows procedures for transfer of records to other locations, files documentation in charts, adheres to all state and Board standards).
· Train consumers in infection control training at the time of admission and annually thereafter.
· Adherence to provider care standards; will insure that all standards of care are maintained on a consistent basis; will provide accurate and timely documentation in accordance with established standards.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:
· Education: Education: Bachleor's Degree Required
- Experience: Two years mental health related experience.
MINIMUM EXPECTATIONS:
· Ability to relate well to clients, a multi-disciplinary staff, and the community, ability to work with a team. Must demonstrate and continue to show merit.
- Maintain a current driver’s license valid in Alabama and a good driving record. The license shall be appropriate for the type of vehicle operated by the driver.
· Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, supervisors, and other staff in the company.
· Performs other related duties as required. (Related duties as required are duties which may not be specifically listed in the duties and responsibilities description, but are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s class of work.)
· Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.
· Must work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks. Must be available (especially during regular business hours or shifts) to communicate with supervisors, clients, vendors and any other person or organization with whom interaction is required to accomplish work and project goals.
· Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards, work deadlines, and beginning and ending assignments on time.

Pay: $15.38 - $16.83 per hour
