We are looking for Correctional RN in Coalinga, CA. We need someone with min 1 year Correctional Experience.
Shift Time: Morning &Evening
Contract: 27 Weeks
Confirmed Hours: 40 hours per week (8*5)
Pay Package:
Pay Rate: $75.00/hr (for Local)
Blended Rate: $80.15/hr (for Traveller)
(Package for Travelers Based on 40 hours per week)
Total Gross Income: $3206.11/week
Non-Taxable Amount: $1274/week (Max)
Taxable Amount: $1932.11/week
Certificates: BLS must be from AHA (American Heart Association).
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state of California.
Responsibilities
· Correction RN will monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
· Correction RN will observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
· Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
· Correction RN will perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
· Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
· Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
· Provide instant medical care in emergencies
· Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants
