Cost Accountant Job at Integrity Staffing Solutions LLC_Oklahoma
Integrity Staffing is seeking a Cost Accountant for an Industrial Partner is the Catoosa, Oklahoma area (about 20 minutes from downtown Tulsa)
This is a direct hire position, meaning you'd start on the employer's payroll, day one and be eligible for benefits shortly after your start date.
Requirements the company would prefer to see in the idea Cost Accountant employee-
- Prior use of electronic accounting systems required; experience with Made2Manage preferred.
- Advanced in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook (electronic mail), Word (word processing), Excel (spreadsheet, graphics, etc.) is required.
- Requiring a Bachelor’s degree in the Accounting, Business or Finance
- At minimum 3 years of Cost Accounting experience
- Required Project Cost experience
Job Duties will be-
- Analyzing data and records results.
- Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.
- Applies principles of cost accounting to conduct studies which provide detailed cost information not supplied by general accounting systems by performing the following duties.
- Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic report comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Records cost information for use in controlling expenditure.
- Analyzes audits of costs and prepares reports.
- Compiles cost information to be used in operating budget preparation.
- Makes estimates of new and proposed product or service costs.
- Recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts.
- Develops and installs cost accounting system.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interchange with others in the department.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Accurate data entry and reconciling skills.
- Maintains knowledge of commonly used concepts, practice, computer program and procedures within the accounts receivable field.
