Credit Card Processor Job at WorkForce Unlimited
- Record payments and deductions to the customer accounts with 100% accuracy while using our systems and reconcile payments back to the bank’s previous day report to check for accuracy
- Provide/retrieve documentation from the customer to the AR team so deductions can be resolved
- Access customer portals routinely to identify upcoming payments, potential payment problems and pending deductions
- Maintain accurate files of Accounts Receivable monthly transactions and journal entries
- Responsible for accessing bank website to pull in daily lockbox and deposit information and download the files into the AR system Pull reports and manipulate files (excel sorting, v-lookup, pivot) in order to identify credit card sales and refunds by customer off Virtual Merchant / PayPal / Converge / Shopify/ Amazon Pay /eBay and download those files into AR system to payout invoices and returns/refunds
- Responsible for contacting the bank directly as needed for necessary back up information to reconcile any issues that arise Prepare General Journals for miscellaneous cash entries
- Summarizes Previous Day report daily and sends to management weekly
- Accurately process holds, charges, and refunds to customer credit card accounts
- Change order status in the system for credit card accounts when necessary to
- release orders for shipping Prepares and processes freight bills for scanning and indexing
- Pull documentation for auditors as needed and compile clear/concise documents
- Must possess the ability to work under pressure and be adaptable to change
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform any additional responsibilities and or tasks as needed by management
- Must ensure adequate documentation and commentary is saved in our system to support audit and explain why action was taken
- Must be resourceful and able to autonomously research discrepancies in various systems (i.e. portal, remit etc.) to ensure resolution; possess problem solving skills and ability to work with peers, customers and other internal teams to drive root cause resolution
