Today, Replacement Parts, Inc. and Crow Burlingame is made up of a corporate staff and several different companies, including Parts Warehouse Inc. (PWI). We employ around 1,400 employees, in twelve (12) states, working at approximately 220 locations, all operating in the aftermarket automotive parts, paint and heavy-duty parts business. In 2019, our company celebrated 100 years of serving our communities as a privately held business with most of our employees spending the majority of their working lives as part of the "Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts" family.

The Credit Clerk accurately and efficiently processes customer payments and requests for Replacement Parts, Inc., corporate office of Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts. They work closely with customers to help reconcile accounts receivables and resolve any issues. This is an entry level position in our Credit Department and will not have any direct accounting duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Provide exceptional customer service.
    • This includes, but is not limited to: assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Handle inbound/outbound phone and email correspondence
  • Contact customers regarding open aging invoices.
  • Receive and process documents including Applications and Resale Tax Certificates
  • Participate in/or handle special projects as assigned
  • Mail out monthly statements
  • Process and balance payments using Journal entries
  • All other job duties as required or assigned

Education and/or Experience


High school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of relevant job experience.


Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Mathematical Skills


Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to apply logical understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge, knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products specific to Excel/Outlook and 10 key typing experience.
