CREELER Job at Tarkett
Summary:
The tufting Creelers main responsibility is to ensure that optimum standard conditions are utilized for the tufting processes and that those processes meet all of Fieldturf’s standards for performance.
Essential Functions:
- Work around and with automated equipment, moving machinery, and computerized systems
- This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Frequently required to reach overhead, kneel, change bobbins, remove bobbins and empty cones, change backing, read and understand line changes
- creel changes both full and partial
- complete required paperwork associated with the creeling such as returning fiber
- Must be able to stand continuously stand throughout an 8-12 hour shift traverse up and down catwalk, stairs and throughout department.
- Follow all plant safety rules at all times
- Transfer yarn packages to creel according to order and operator instructions
- Check lot numbers
- Tie yarn correctly as required
- Repeat process as needed to keep creel caught upAssist with backing changes
- Any other duties requested by supervisor
