Purpose: To manage efficient procedures to ensure aggregate product is produced in a timely manner.

*The Crusher Supervisor is responsible for various functions including, but not limited to*:

• Supervise and manage small crew of employees who work in gravel pits
• Ensure all MSHA rules and regulations are being enforced and implemented
• Maintain and fix crushing equipment
• Manage electronic and paper documents, such as timecards, productions reports, MSHA paperwork
• Ensure gradations are completed and reported daily
• Operate equipment within gravel pits (crushers, dozers, loaders, excavators)
• Order parts and fuel for crusher as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Aptitude/Abilities/Skills:

• Strong communicator both oral and written
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage people
• General computer knowledge
• Ability to prioritize
• Ability to solve problems and demonstrate resourcefulness

Requirements:

• Experience operating various types of equipment (i.e. crusher, backhoe, dozer, loader, excavator)
• 5 years of crushing experience
• Strong communication skills
• Team player and ability to work well with others
• Willingness to travel Minnesota and North/South Dakota
• Familiarity of MSHA rules and regulations
• Safety oriented mindset
