The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
In this role, your Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Performs imaging duties as assigned
- Positions the patient being tested to insure that proper image capture is achieved
- Selects proper technical factors
- Utilizes computer to record patient status
- Functions proficiently with all technical equipment in diagnostic modality
- Assists physician in performing imaging studies
- Prepares contrast media for administration to patients and assists the physician
- Maintains technical imaging equipment to be in proper working conditioned
- Reports malfunctioning equipment or housekeeping issues to appropriate person
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and neat
- Maintains an adequate inventory of all necessary supplies
ABOUT YOU:
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
- Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- CT ARRT Certification is required.
- Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
