ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Responsibilities include installing, integrating and testing complex location based services software solutions. The systems are deployed in customer labs and production networks and in cloud based environments. This position requires excellent engineering problem solving skills, a keen sense for troubleshooting and good communication skills. Must display a rigorous work ethic and possess the initiative and independent thinking to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Jr to mid-level candidates accepted.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Deployment/Integration responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Enterprise Application Software installation, upgrades and integration including coordination w/ customer for install/integration into customer environments including private clouds (e.g. Openstack).
• Work closely with project managers to deploy enterprise software and complete application acceptance testing with customers
• Maintain and support deployed enterprise software applications in production environments
• Work closely with Software and Systems Engineers to resolve integration and product issues

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Operating Systems, Linux CentOS, RHEL
• Basic TCP/IP networking
• Virtualization/Cloud knowledge e.g. Openstack Kubernetes and containers
• Databases, e.g PostgreSQL
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience investigating and resolving software bugs
• Ability to work in collaborative environment
• Ability to work directly with customers
• scripting skills to support and/or create deployment scripts a plus
• 3GPP, 3GPP2, and OMA Standards Knowledge a plus
• GSM, UMTS, LTE, and CDMA Technology Knowledge a plus
• Familiar with SIGTRAN, SS7, SMPP, DIAMETER, SNMP, HTTP, SMS, SSL and XML protocols a plus
• Experience installing hardware solutions in datacenters a plus

EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent
