A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTODIAN

In this commercial cleaner position, you are on the frontlines of who we are and what we do as a company. You arrive for each shift ready to get to work. You enjoy "getting in the zone" and working efficiently but are also friendly and service-oriented. Whether it's dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, or restocking paper and soap supplies, you get great satisfaction out of checking off tasks while physically seeing what you've accomplished.

After completing your tasks, you bag the trash and dispose of it properly in compactors or dumpsters. You always keep your cleaning equipment organized and in good working order, requesting supplies before you run out of stock. At the end of each office cleaning shift, you are proud of everything that you have accomplished!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTODIAN

• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Mechanically inclined and able to operate vacuums and other cleaning equipment
• Ability to use applicable hand and power tools
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
