About the Position:
Robert Madden Industries is seeking a motivated, energetic, and qualified professional to join the Technical Services Department.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to dealers/contractors and customers to analyze, recommend solutions to, and resolve problems concerning equipment installation and operation
- Training dealer/contractor personnel
- Facilitating resolution of consumer complaints
- Warranty administration and post-sales support
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Qualifications, Attributes, Education, and/or Experience:
- Two-year HVAC/HVACR technical degree plus 5 years of appropriate fieldwork experience in installation, service, and maintenance of residential and commercial HVAC systems or a minimum of 10 years of appropriate fieldwork experience.
- Should possess advanced skills and extensive troubleshooting HVAC/HVACR installation and maintenance problems
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills & interpersonal skills for dealing effectively with dealers/contractors and customers
- Demonstrated teaching ability
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Computer Skills:
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with general personal computer software applications
Travel Requirements:
- Dealer visits
- Job site visits
- Additional travel throughout the distributorship’s market territory as necessary to meet job responsibilities
