Customer Service Associate Job Summary: The Customer Service Associate is responsible for ensuring all meeting rooms and public areas of the facility are maintained to the highest level of professional appearance and all meeting requirements are met prior to the meeting start times. This is a fast-paced, customer-interactive role that requires an organized and positive individual who can work calmly in high pressure environments. The ability to multi-task is necessary, along with working on your feet all day and the ability to lift and move furniture/equipment.
Customer Service Associate Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned work orders in ticket system to ensure timely and accurate response
- Ensure all public spaces (kitchens, energy hubs, lobbies,) are always in excellent condition
- Assist with conference room events and setup accordingly and on-time
- Work with Facilities Service Coordinator to set up special/annual events
- Communicate effectively with Admins and vendors for event set ups
- Help with campus moves, to include keeping moving equipment organized and accounted for
- Assist furniture mechanic with large furniture moves or replacements as needed
- Assist with the shipping and receiving when loading dock activities occur
- Participates in cross-training of other areas of service with a willingness to embrace and perform continuous training and professional educational programs
- Receive, sort, scan, track and deliver all classes of US mail and accountable packages from various carriers such as FedEx, UPS, Amazon, etc. along with coordinating and processing outbound mail/packages
- Assist in maintaining copier, fax and binding equipment & stock supplies as needed
- Assist in capturing and maintaining logs of volumes and activities
- Assist reprographics and team lead with photocopy, lamination, and finishing work when large projects arise, correctly and on-time
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice
Customer Service Associate Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic knowledge of how to use Outlook and other Microsoft Office software
- Strong customer satisfaction focus and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively in an ambiguous environment
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to remain on your feet for many hours
- Ability to stoop, climb, and Ability to solo lift 1-25 frequently, 25-40 regularly, 40-50 occasionally, 50-75 rarely
