Navico Group is a newly formed stand-alone division of Brunswick, the world’s largest recreational marine business. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Flippin, Arkansas, this position would be remote.

This important position is the Customer Service point of contact and liaison to Navico Group’s Customers within an assigned channel or market. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for processing and managing Customer orders to support error free, on-time delivery of quality parts. This individual is also responsible to provide timely delivery of information to and from the Customer along with proactive and effective resolution of customer issues and inquiries.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Data entry, keying orders, emergency phone orders for rush shipment, pricing maintenance, solving order discrepancies, customer maintenance, etc.
  • Relaying information obtained from CRT (SAP and other programs) related to status of purchase orders, inventory information, general product information, tracking shipments, repair part information, gathering information for accounting, pricing information, return authorization requests, etc.
  • Provide assistance to Customer Service Reps and Customer Service Supervisor for various projects as needed.
  • Process Returned Goods Authorizations.
  • Perform day to day administrative tasks such as maintaining customer order files, customer records, and other information in both paper and electronic form.
  • Continuously enhance technical knowledge of products and customer base.
  • Recommend improvements to processes and procedures and maintain an attitude of continuous improvement.
  • Input data into a computerized database with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by the Customer Service Supervisor

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
  • 2 years related experience and/or training in Customer Service within a general office environment.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, understanding of quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and an ERP computer system.
  • High level of attention to detail and problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a service orientation – actively looking for ways to help people, including external customers, internal customers, and co-workers.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with unpleasant or angry customers while maintaining composure, controlling emotions and being sensitive to others’ needs and expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing information and selecting the best solution.
  • Ability to work and achieve established results with limited supervision.
  • Have a positive attitude coupled with a passion for service excellence and spirit of continuous improvement.
