Empire services an array of industries: commercial facilities, schools and universities, food service and food processing, government, healthcare, hospitality and entertainment, manufacturing, retail, and commercial laundry, and ware wash.
About You:
You are a problem solver who can patiently listen to, understand, and address complex customer issues. If you enjoy helping people and are a good problem solver this Customer Service Representative this is for you! Must be good with Data Entry and have good computer skills. This roll works with our experienced CSR team to deliver the highest quality customer service available in our industry.
**You must complete the skills test's to be considered for this position**
- A results-driven individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
- Above average computer navigation skills and exceptional telephone etiquette, including ability to accurately type at least 30 wpm
- Ability to manage a large amount of phone calls
- Must be able to multitask; you'll be answering call's looking up product while on the phone, and sending email's.
- Ability to navigate multiple applications and research solutions with ease
- Answer customer questions and provide helpful solutions
- Promote products and services for our customers, look up and suggest replacement products when needed.
- Responsible for filing and maintaining all Proof of Delivery files
- Resolve customer complaints with fast, friendly, and courteous service
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
- Distributes POD documents as requested from customers or internal requests
- Must have strong people skills and ability to build a genuine connection with our customers, sales team, and co-workers.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
- Be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check
The ideal candidate should:
- High school diploma or GED
- Have 1 year of relevant Office CSR experience -
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills; written, typed, and verbal
- Have the ability to be coachable; follow written and oral directions, and adapt to new things
- Professional Demeanor
- Detail Oriented

This position is M - F
Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
