Customer Service Representative (CSR)- Part time Job at Revv Aviation
Job Type: Full time (8am-5pm)
Job Summary: Carver Aero’s Desk Associate position will always uphold our standard of customer service for all customers, past present and future by being responsible for greeting and assisting all customers, writing up and entering fuel invoices, checking in and dispatching aircraft rentals and invoicing, assisting charter pilots with charter operations, dispatching, invoices, answering and directing all incoming calls made to the facility, monitoring building cleanliness and functions to benefit of our customers, and assisting all other Carver Aero departments as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Always maintaining the Carver Aero standard of customer service.
- Assisting customers both internal and external as needed.
- Answering phone calls and directing them as needed
- Efficient in operating phone system
- Monitoring all incoming and outgoing traffic
- Keep cash sheet updated and log invoices accordingly
- Communicating with line staff about fueling and aircraft activity
- Invoicing all fueling, aircraft rentals, lessons, handling fees, etc.
- Obtaining payments from customers and logging each transaction
- Keeping count of cash in the cash drawer
- Set up rental cars and hotel reservations for customers as needed
- Make copies of flight school documents, rental contracts and other front desk documents as needed.
- Keep coffee bar stocked and clean for customers
- Ensure lobby is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Assist Line Technician’s with opening and closing duties.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
General knowledge and skills needed for the position:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Valid Driver’s License is required
- Strong customer service skills are required
- Basic computer skills are required
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel is required
- Candidates 18 years or older strongly preferred
- Experience with using a multi-line phone system is preferred
- Ability to communicate in a pleasant, professional and courteous manner with our customers and other departments at all times
- Experience with QuickBooks software is a plus
- The ability to learn aircraft call signs and general aviation terms
- Ability to multitask
