Customer Service Team Leader Job at Specialty Product Technologies
The Customer Service Team Lead will be responsible for directing the quotation of new business, the entry of purchase orders into the system, the maintenance of pricing, and communication with customers throughout the production process. Will capture customer VOC and develop and lead relevant cross-functional action plans. A primary component of this role is managing Customer Service associates and activities. This role will be onsite in Elizabethtown NC
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define, measure, analyze and improve the customer service metrics to create an excellent customer experience.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to achieve performance goals and Policy Deployment Objectives.
Supervises, coaches and leads the customer service team.
Conduct yearly performance reviews for direct reports along with providing feedback on a quarterly basis.
Coordinate the customer service team’s efforts in quoting new business and supporting sales activities.
Manage the Customer Service team to ensure accurate quoting, input of orders and communication with customers.
Partner cross-functionally to solve top-tier customer issues.
Improve the capabilities of Customer Service associates through training and coaching.
Develop a process to capture market intelligence, identify sales leads and communicate to the sales team for follow up.
Completes surveys, analyzes and acts on customer VOC.
Creates and maintains a positive, respectful work environment.
Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures and practices.
Travel as required to customer locations or other Fortive locations, less than 5%.
Candidate will be responsible for key accounts and supporting a territory including orders, inquiries and support.

BS or BA Degree preferred
3 years of customer service management experience or equivalent
5 years of management experience preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to analyze and summarize large amounts of data; strong Excel skills a must
Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently
Customer oriented
Strong sense of urgency in order to accomplish tasks
