Position Details:
- Title: Customer Support Representative - Cosmetics
- Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role will have 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, M-F
- Location: Gibbstown, NJ (08027)
Position Overview:
The Customer Support Rep (Keystone Cosmetics) is a highly motivated individual responsible for supporting our sales team in our rapidly growing Cosmetic Division. Focus will be on heavy customer service and account support. Demonstrates a professional image in representing Keystone Cosmetics and its products.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide internal support to sales team
- Strong liaison between various departments within a manufacturing environment
- Works closely with account manager & other sales personnel
- Respond to customer requests and inquiries promptly and courteously. Analyze and rectify concerns using established company procedures. Make recommendations.
- Assist sales team with problem resolution
- Process orders in a timely fashion. Accurately enters orders in the computer system
- Use of email, faxing or mailing
- Learn product characteristics and applications. A working knowledge of the cosmetic industry is helpful
- Provides back up support where needed to sales personnel
- Light office duties as assigned.
- Assists with special projects
- May assist with the coordination of onsite and offsite marketing/sales events like trade shows and conferences
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service-related role
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others - team player
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment with little or no supervision and in a collaborative environment.
- Deadline driven
- Time management critical
- Exceptional organizational and problem- solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills-ability to interface and communicate/collaborate at all levels internally and externally
- Must be assertive and comfortable asking questions
Desired Skills:
- Customer service experience in a production environment
- Experience with Microsoft D365
- Excel and Smartsheet experience
- Self-motivated, energetic and outgoing
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent teamwork and collaborative attitude
- Previous experience or interest working in the beauty/cosmetic industry
- Ability to confirm to shifting priorities, demands and timetables
- Flexible-adapt to changing tasks and expectations
Education:
- High school graduate or GED
- Associates degree a plus
- Business classes a plus
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Physical Demands: Employee is required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend; kneel and climb. The employee must have the ability to frequently lift/move up to 15 pounds.
- Work Environment: This position requires one to work both in an office environment and a manufacturing facility. There is a moderate level of noise, heat, cold, dust, dirt and fumes in the manufacturing setting. Employee may be exposed to varying temperatures.
