This position is for a Cyber Security Engineer on the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Program. Under experienced guidance from senior team members, the selected candidate will implement the Risk Management Framework (RMF) as solutions in areas impacting customers' information systems for security architecture, implementation, Authorization and Assessment (A&A), and trade studies. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing RMF A&A packages for the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation life cycle of a future platform information technology. The position requires direct customer interface as well as coordinating with internal engineering teams. Selected candidate will also need to support Cyber Tabletops and Cyber architectural assessments.

In this role you will:
  • Support the Program's Cyber Manager and Execution Lead for a variety of RMF execution tasks.
  • Support multiple unique projects occurring at the same time.
  • Communicate resources and actions across multiple stakeholder organizations and internal engineering teams.

You will also support:
  • RMF Package development and management
  • Cybersecurity CDRL documentation
  • Trace and evaluation of system-level Cyber requirements
  • CPS Program's Agile methodology
  • Resolving or developing solutions to hard problems as they relate to Cyber
  • Work amongst a diverse team of external and internal Cyber professionals
  • Proposals for new Cyber scope and/or add-ons to the current contract

Basic Qualifications:
  • DoD IAT Level 2 Qualification
  • Experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A)
  • Experience with DISA STIG and IAVM processes
  • Experience with DoD Cyber Security Requirements, Policies, and Procedures (DoD 8500.01, 8510.01, NIST 800 Series
Desired Skills:
Conduct Cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions. Understanding of DoD and industry Cyber security processes, methods, techniques, and tools to ensure their consistent application.
  • Hands on experience with Cyber Tabletops
  • Cameo experience
  • Crypto methodologies
Includes knowledge of:
  • SCC STIG Viewer, and ACAS/Security Center
  • DevSecOps
  • Developing executive level briefings
  • Cyber-attack methods (i.e., Cyber Kill Chain, LM STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $114,100 - $218,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
