Crown Staffing is hiring a Cycle Counter for one of the largest plastics distribution companies in the Plainfield area.

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Shift Hours: 8am-9am start time - Shift is 8 hours plus possible OT

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the warehouse. This position will control and maintain inventory locations within Dynamics and in the warehouse:

• Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory cycle counts and material movement to assure that they are accurate and timely.
• Perform cycle counts of designated areas following a schedule.
• Coordinate the cycle count progress and results to identify necessary recounts and provide regular updates on the findings.
• Work closely with the Inventory and Warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy and levels.
• Update and input in the inventory software the bin locations for inbound material and materials moved during the row consolidation and other daily warehouse activities.
• Responsible for filing and storing completed movement sheets.
• Verify, report and when applicable correct discrepancies found while updating movement sheets and row charts.
• Assist with physical counts of the inventory on hand, audits and inventory reconciliations.
• Research of repacks, railcar pack outs, relabels, blends and other Inventory/Production transactions. o Retrieving and verifying hard copies of work orders and sales orders.
• Review of overages, nonconforming area and dump lots.
• Assist in the physical inventory planning and reconciliation of year-end physical inventory in conjunction with the Inventory and warehouse team.
• Notify Inventory team of shortages, damages or other discrepancies that could impact product availability.
• Assist Quality Coordinator and Inventory Coordinator with physical counts related to customer complaints.
• Manage the addition, resale and disposal of materials that are labeled as dump lots.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs. as part of the job function.
• Must be able to pass the forklift certification test and drive a forklift on a daily basis.
• All others duties as assigned
