Cycle Counter Job at LT Apparel group
Position Overview:
As an individual contributor, the Cycle Counter follows the cycle counting schedule to maintain inventory accuracy by properly counting and updating inventory data in the warehouse management system (WMS).
Principal Responsibilities:
- Safely operates powered industrial equipment to routinely count physical inventory and materials stored in various storage locations through the distribution center.
- Follows an established cycle counting calendar and plan to ensure counting is completed according to company guidelines.
- Assists in researching inventory discrepancies and limbo inventory.
- Performs audits as needed to resolve discrepancies and variances.
- Reports inventory concerns to management.
- Follows all safety protocols as outlined for the position.
- Assists in maintaining a clean and organized work area, including the powered industrial equipment.
- Completes all training requirements timely.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
Required:
High school diploma or GED. 2 years of work experience may be accepted in lieu of high school diploma or GED

6 months of cycle counting experience in manufacturing or distribution industry
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to follow all safety protocols associated with the position. Knowledgeable of WMS software (Blue Cherry). Ability to read and write basic English, follow oral instructions, and perform basic math skills. Ability to be certified and safely operate powered industrial equipment. Ability to work overtime as needed.

Work successfully as part of a team through effective communication methods and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with others. Ability to maintain an organized workspace and ensure proper documentation retention.
Physical Abilities
Ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally. Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours. Ability to see details at a near and far distance.
