Data Analyst Engineer

Location: Canoga Park, CA

Pay Rate: $37.74 - $46.39/HR

Job Type: 6 Month Contract

Schedule: First Shift - 9/80

Duties:

-Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst Engineer supporting their Engineering management teams at their Canoga Park, CA facility.

-This position provides overall Data Analyst support to multiple Engineering managers across multiple disciplines and programs.

-Responsibilities includes analyzing hardware fabrication trends, recognizing drift in operational commitment target trends, program allocated budget reports, records preparation, special presentation preparation, support of communications to executives and customers.

-This position will also be responsible for the collection and reporting of program organizational data/metrics and support to other special projects as needed.

-Maintain SharePoint Content.

-Update and maintain Metrics and records.

-Provide and Coordinate Data Analyst reports requests from the engineering management groups.

Examples:

-Collection of data supporting the health of the program.

-Researching hardware trends.

-Historical data collection.

-Amortized cost savings over the life of the program.

Skills:

Skills Required:

-Strong administrative skills

-Excellent organizational skills that allow you to keep an overview but without losing an eye for detail.

-Computer skills in Microsoft suite of tools: Work, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.

Skills Desired:

-Advanced Computer skills with Microsoft Project, SharePoint & Excel.

-A continuous improvement mindset

Education:

-Bachelor’s degree in business or science (BA or BS) HIGHLY PREFERRED.

-Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of experience in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

-Work experience within an engineering organization is preferred.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
