Job Summary
Under general supervision, learn and perform a variety of support work in the preparation of assessment rolls; learn to provide support and assistance with the completion and processing of data; and to do related work as required. Assists with a variety of administrative details as needed.
SALARY: $15.00 - $16.00 HOURLY
HOURS: 20-30 HOUR WORK WEEK
OPENING DATE: IMMEDIATELY
Monday – Thursday scheduling between 8am-5pm
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Bilingual Arabic/English
Specific Duties
· Perform a variety of support work in the production of assessment rolls.
· Maintain and update records and indexes regarding property ownership and mailing addresses, includes occupation.
· Input assessment related data into the BS&A database.
· Assist the public with completion of forms and understanding assessments.
· Prepare and mail questionnaires and forms.
· Provide information to the public for assessment questions in person, over the telephone, and via email.
Job Requirements
· Good public relations techniques.
· Basic computer operation, including working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Maintenance of files and information retrieval systems.
· Use of computers in maintaining records and information.
· Modern office methods and procedures.
· Ability to learn and perform a variety of Assessment Office clerical support work.
· Speak and write effectively.
· Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
· Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
· Type and/or use word processing software
