Keeps current gift shop inventory up-to-date on the computer. Responsible for review of merchandise and preparing vendor reports for the Manager’s approval. Responsible for phoning in orders and filling purchase orders from vendors after the Manager’s approval. Checks invoice against purchase orders to confirm price, quantity, dating and discounts. Accurately inputs received merchandise into the computer. Accurately unpacks and prices, and prepares merchandise for display. Prepares invoices for payment and credit forms for invoices.
Must be 18 years old, and have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Windows computer and Excel spreadsheet experience required. Previous data entry experience preferred. Excellent math, grammar, communication and organizational skills. Dependable, neat appearance, friendly disposition, ability to stand, walk at all times, and lift moderate weights.
