The Puyenpa family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. We are actively seeking a Data Processor based in Washington D.C. if. This is a Full-Time onsite role. This position will require a Public Trust clearance, the ability to obtain one.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Puyenpa team supporting the Department of Transportation. The main responsibilities of the role include:
  • Entering data into management systems software.
  • Reviewing data against reporting requirements and business rules.
  • Conducting multiple quality reviews to ensure accuracy and completion of data and business processes.
  • Proactively working to achieve program objectives.
  • Identifying errors and missing information in government form submissions.
  • Reporting out IT system errors that negatively impact the business processes.
  • Responding to requests for information. Supporting special data research and analysis tasks/projects, as directed.
  • Supporting quality management and business process improvement initiatives. Duties may include: Identifying areas of improvement. Updating process documentation. Participating in routine process audits.
The qualified candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
  • Demonstrated experience adapting to new and challenging situations.
  • Ability to undertake a task or project on his or her own initiative, without needing to be told or encouraged to do so.
  • Ability to coordinate and interact effectively and professionally with management and peers.
  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Office Suite; Navigating Outlook, and SharePoint.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working at a government agency, strongly preferred.
  • Experience reviewing and applying the requirements outlined Code of Federal Regulations (i.e.,49 CFR), preferred.
  • Experience with continuous process improvement and quality management systems, preferred.
  • Associates, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
