Data Scientist

Computer Vision
  • Create new image-based classification or detection AI/ML models based on requests from partners. Train, validate, and deploy these models into various environments.
  • Investigate new models to improve the speed and effiency of our current applications, namely in image semantic search and detection methods.
  • Explore new advanced techniques in image processing to triage large unstructured data.

NLP
  • Enhance text semantic search capabilities using SOTA models to improve document suggestion workflows.
  • Evaluate FAISS indexes and their ability to process large scalde text data, including both full scale document embedding and sentence level embeddings.
  • Explore new advanced techniques in text processing to triage large unstructured data.
Qualifications:
BS 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+
TS SCI with Poly

Requirements:
Must have atleast 5+ years of demonstrated experience with ML Model development.
Must have atleast 5+ years of demonstrated experience with Training models and Neural networks.
Must have atleast 5+ years of demonstrated experience with Pyton & Javascript.
Must have atleast 5+ years of demonstrated experience with Linux & Windows OS.

Desired:
Must have atleast 8+ years of demonstrated experience with ML Model development.
Must have atleast 8+ years of demonstrated experience with Training models and Neural networks.
Must have atleast 8+ years of demonstrated experience with Pyton & Javascript.
Must have atleast 8+ years of demonstrated experience with Linux & Windows OS.
Must have atleast 5+ years of demonstrated experience with NLP, NLTK, BERT, GenSIM.
5+ years of With AWS environment including EMR, EC2, S3 SNS or SQS.
A well working working knowledge of the customer's Industry Standards and Systems.

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $72,500 Salary Mid: $145,000 Salary Maximum: $181,300 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
