JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Support Business Services, Human Resources, and Technology Services departments in the areas of position control, reporting, data analysis, training, and documentation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - Associate degree, technical or business school diploma, related certifications, or equivalent experience in business applications and reporting.
Experience with managing and supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems preferred (currently Tyler Munis) as well as other data analytic software.
Must have general knowledge of business functions.
Must be experienced in understanding complex records/files.
Must be experienced in preparing and analyzing reports.
Must have the ability to create SQL queries
Must have working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides or equivalent Microsoft productivity software.
Must be experienced in application training.
Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively with people in all areas and levels.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
Experience with school district business services a plus.
Must maintain confidentiality.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Application Support:
Provide technical support to District users in ERP applications.
Assist users on how to use ERP applications.
Troubleshoot ERP software and problems.
Design new reports for administration users, departments, and schools.
Design and distribute reports to departments and schools as requested.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures for ERP applications.
Act as liaison between Finance, Human Resources, and Technology Service departments (regarding business systems and information).
Train staff on new ERP applications and procedures.
- System Analyst:
Assist in the development and design of enhancements/changes to ERP software and procedures.
Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and processes.
Monitor programs to ensure proper operations.
Monitor data to ensure ERP data is accurate.
Design, create, and maintain reports to identify data errors using SQL tools.
- Seasonal Tasks:
Systems rollover procedures for annual salary increases and accrual updates at the end of fiscal year.
Systems setup at the beginning of the fiscal year.
Annual census data reporting to internal, and external information requests including sunshine requests and annual Human Resources Report.
Creating and deactivating user accounts and synchronization of accounts.
Managing Finance and Human Resources workflows.
Maintain ERP online documents.
- Documentation:
Prepare documentation that supports ERP software and procedures.
Update/maintain existing documentation to be consistent with software and procedure changes.
- Training:
Provide initial and on-going training to core ERP users.
Share training opportunities regarding HR and Financials systems with the related department members.
Assist users in developing work-related forms and procedures (currently Unified Talent and Tyler Munis).
