Title: Database Administrator

Location: St, Scottsdale, AZ

Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting large amounts of unruly data from multiple sources and transforming it into a more usable format.
  • Coordinates, organizes, and completes strategic and complex projects of a financial nature requiring identification and extraction of data, evaluation, interpretation, analysis, and summation of findings.
  • Responsible for the creation and evaluation of data models using advanced statistical techniques and for generating data-driven insights by analyzing structured and unstructured data.
  • Complete miscellaneous or ad hoc data analysis requests related to identify financial resolution in a timely manner.
  • Looking for order and patterns in financial data, as well as spotting trends that can help a business’s bottom line.
  • Communicating and collaborating with the IT department and financial stakeholders to help bridge the gap and streamline the information
  • Ensure data integrity of the financial reporting systems and forecasting tools
  • Facilitate data gathering for new analytical or systems initiatives
  • Assist in various ad hoc projects as they arise
  • Partner with project and corporate FP&A stakeholders in preparation of weekly and monthly financial packages, dashboards and reporting of key performance metrics
  • Assist in the standardization of reporting, KPI’s, and data structures
  • Work with partners to continually improve processes and reduce non-value add activities
  • Mentor other analysts on utilization of financial reporting and forecasting tools as well as advanced analytical methods

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related quantitative field
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience with SQL required
  • Experienced with using and deploying Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Domo)
  • Experience with Budgeting Software such as Adaptive Insights, Infor, and Hyperion
  • Experience in creating and analyzing advanced Excel models
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong problem solving and mathematical skills.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • ERP Implementation Experience
  • Prior work in the Real Estate, Hotel, Construction and/or Hospitality Industry
  • Python/R programming is a plus
  • AWS experience
  • Pentaho experience
  • Familiarity with Integration tools a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
