Located on 47 acres in Mora, MN Recovering Hope’s campus includes co-occurring residential and outpatient substance use treatment, and outpatient mental health services.

Summary
Daycare Teachers play a vital role in our Trauma Informed Daycare. Offering stability, structure, care, play and learning each day for kids up to the age of 5! Teachers at Recovering Hope is responsible for the care and education of the children in the daycare center. The Teacher implements a curriculum developed for assigned classroom(s) and program area(s), and observes, assesses, and documents each child's growth and development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor children individually and as a group.
- Plan and implement educational activities based on curriculum.
- Assist children with routines including meals and personal care, as appropriate to the age and development of each child.
- Observe, assess, and document each child's growth and development.
- Ensure the classroom is safe and checklists are completed.
- Meet the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of each child.
- Keep and maintain accident and injury reports.
- Serve as a role model for children who are served by the daycare center.
- Maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to each child, family member, and other employees.
Qualifications:
- 18+ years of age required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- A minimum of 24 credits and 4,160 hours (two years) of experience as an Assistant Teacher, or considered a qualified teacher based on education in early childhood development.
- Experience working with children. (Preferred but not required)
- Ability to attest to being free from problematic substance abuse for two years preceding employment.
- Pass a background study
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.50 per hour
