DC Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift Job at Orscheln Industries
Orscheln Farm and Home Distribution Center is looking for a qualified individual to fill a full-time Maintenance Mechanic position.
2nd Shift - Sunday through Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
Individual supports the Distribution Center operations by ensuring equipment is operational by conducting PMs on schedule and repairs as needed. Previous maintenance experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate cutting torch, welders, and any shop equipment available such as meters, hose crimpers, etc.
- Maintain forklifts, perform minor repairs so equipment is operational for the next shift.
Perform the following duties under the supervision or direction of Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Technician:
- PMs on forklifts.
- Forklift repair will include troubleshooting, replacing or repairing motors, brakes, brushes, wheels, and bearings.
- Ability to work on other equipment as needed, such as golf cart, scrubber, scissor lift, etc.
- PM conveyor system and troubleshoot. Perform minor electrical and reboot procedure. Replace or repair conveyor belts.
- Wood projects: repair man-up boxes, crates, fixtures, which include fabricating as required per Supervisor or Maintenance Technician’s instructions.
- Other duties as assigned.
