Deburring Operator Job at The Atlas Group
Summary: Responsible for working closely with the fab. shop and the machine shop and working to eliminate errors and blend parts per customer requirements by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Demonstrates the ability to assemble a flapper wheel assembly.*
- Uses a dotco, drill press, saw, burr knife, and all of the various files.*
- Locates various items in the shop to perform job.*
- Demonstrates the ability to burr parts in a safe and efficient manner.*
- Displays a team-player attitude and works on helping other team players in the area.*
- Works to maintain a well-groomed work area.*
- Exercises good housekeeping practices.*
- Demonstrates the authority to stop any production order for quality concerns.
- Performs other similar or related duties as necessary.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prefer at least 2 years experience. Onsite training available
Equipment:
- Micrometers
- High-gage
- Indicator
- Forklift
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
- Must be able to read customer-provided drawing
- Proficient in the use of customer-furnished specifications

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
