Job Responsibilities
Implementation of renewable energy projects across CBRE Investment Management's real estate and infrastructure portfolio
Budgeting, planning, and program management of decarbonization and electrification initiatives across real-estate assets
Work across the CBREIM organization, as well as with renewable energy developers engineering and consulting companies to deliver solutions
Organize and manage renewable energy deployment across portfolio. Responsible for maintaining project documents, tracking project schedules, process flows, and milestones
Manage the decarbonization roadmap and modeling process. Create a process to integrate technical reports from engineering firms into a site and portfolio-specific roadmap. This includes, but is not limited to, electrification of heating/cooling equipment, energy reduction projects, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure
Provide comprehensive updates on project milestones and progress. Create documentation to ensure easy transition from project deployment through asset and property management
Create design measurement and verification protocols to demonstrate successful achievement of program metrics
Set-up efficient data management processes to ensure the future tracking of program results.
Manage the transition of data management processes
Be a key liaison between asset manager, property managers and strategic vendors. Act as subject matter expert to ensure successful technical deployment of infrastructure
Analyze large data sets and external data models to validate program results
Prepare executive summary reports to articulate program status and results to CBREIM leadership
Perform all responsibilities in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment
Work with analyst team to create data analytics tools that can be used by internal stakeholders to track sustainability metrics and KPIs

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in STEM or Construction Management
Passionate about Data and Sustainability/ESG issues
5-10 years of experience in renewable energy project management, program management real-estate, and/or project management
Ability to create and modify site-level and portfolio-level decarbonization roadmaps using industry-standard tools
Demonstrated ability to establish processes, workflows, and standard procedures.
Demonstrated ability to create measurement and verification documentation as well as tracking results.
Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets and turn into actionable presentation and reports
Knowledgeable in areas of property or asset management strategies
Excellent project management, time management and organization skills
Excellent problem-solving skills with diverse stakeholder groups
Excellent and professional communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong analytical skills
Self-starter that can identify opportunities and drive solutions
Ability to work independently while maintaining all deadlines and critical date obligations
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional Microsoft office skills including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in STEM or Construction Management
Experience developing capital budgets for portfolio deployments
Ability to create complex models that leverage several databases
Knowledge of renewable energy equipment supply chain
Knowledge of electric vehicle supply chain and IT infrastructure
Experience converting central building systems from fossil fuel powered to electricity powered infrastructure
Working knowledge of industry recognized standards (i. e. - UN SDGs, PRI, GRESB, LEED, BREEAM, TCFD, SFDR)
Green building or energy management certificate, such as LEED Green Associate or a Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
Professional Engineering license or Engineering-in-Training (EIT)
Research or knowledge of renewable energy and/or supply side energy market

The minimum salary for the Decarbonization Program Manager position is $130,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. "
