Yard Technician/Driver - 2

Compensation:

$17.00 - $22.00 Hourly

Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure proper assembly, delivery, and set-up of Outdoor Elegance product to the end user. Ensure the store is maintained in a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.

Tasks & Duties

• Assemble product per manufacturer’s instructions and Outdoor Elegance Standards.
• Deliver product via company vehicle to end user.
• Maintain appearance and safety of the facility.
• Provide Customer Service to end user.
• Maintain operation goals set in place by Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Order pick, assemble and prepare customer sales order.
• Accurately verify quantities and quality of product before presented to customer.
• Deliver orders using company vehicle, meeting company safety and customer service standards.
• Prepare store every morning by assuring cleanliness inside and out.
• Frequently rearranging and switching out showroom furniture sets based on need.
• Maintaining landscape of facility.
• Conduct service visits to customer’s home.
• Assist inventory team on cycle counts and maintaining inventory counts.
• Unload manufacturer’s delivery trucks via forklift.
• Communicate effectively.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and manufacturers.
• Comply with all safety rules regulations and training Maintain safe work environment.
• Perform clean and care duties.

Qualifications

• Clean DMV driving record.
• Proficient in using hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of outdoor patio furniture and procedures to properly care for the furniture.
• Maintain composure when dealing with customer complaints.
• Communicate effectively written and orally.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and manufacturers.
• Availability to work at any time of the day, at the hours necessary to complete requirements.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must be 20 years of age and possess valid proof of identification.
• Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds and stand for a duration of time.
• Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must be able to work weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for a duration of time.
• Perform duties in extreme weather eliminates, direct sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, wind and cold.

Required Experience & Education

• 1+ years of delivery experience.
• Completion of high school or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

• Working within the causal living industries highly preferred.
• Bilingual candidates not required but preferred.
• Forklift Certified.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
