The Delta One Index Trader will report into the Head of Global Securities Financing in the Americas and will be responsible for managing the risks, developing the product offer and steering the growth of the derivatives book
- Generate revenues from Delta-One derivatives products (Index and Single-stocks)
- Manage risks of the book in accordance with risk mandates and limitations
- Quote and trade with brokers, sales and customers and participate in an active market making activity
- Leverage on potentially existing final customers contacts (HF, Insurance, AM, Pension)
- Expand products knowledge/expertise and increase desk coverage and efficiency
- Collaborate with global teams for product offering expansion and improvement of systems.
- Participate in the enhancement of the 1LOD model and reinforce the controls
- Must possess strong analytical and quantitative skills to enhance pricing and risk models
- Price and manage corporate actions and merger arb transactions
- Ability to drive projects
Profil et compétences requises
Bachelor required and graduate degree preferred. Quantitative degree preferred.- Superior knowledge of the Global Markets financing competitive and regulatory landscape.
- Minimum of 5 years of Delta-One trading, Index and/or Single-Stock.
- Expertise in RevCons, various baskets and indexation wrappers, and proprietary indices understanding is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Securities financing and derivative systems such as Sophis, Smartloan.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency (functions & Macros, tools & formats, etc.), Python.
- Critical thinker, self-disciplined, innovative, with a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated team player.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Efficiently work under pressure and under tight deadlines, in particular during bidding processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey thoughts clearly and succinctly and to communicate pertinent complex information in a clear and organized manner.
