Dental Assistant Job at Love Your Smile Family Dentistry
We are looking for a Professional Dental Receptionist to support our day-to-day operations.As a Dental Receptionist you will be responsible for answering and directing incoming calls, handling patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, preparing treatment rooms. In addition to handling phone calls, you should be well-organized and efficient in data entry. You will also be responsible for online scheduling through our practice management software. Communication skills and good English grammar are essential for this role as your main task is to communicate with patients clearly.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and prospective patients.
- Answer phone and direct calls appropriately; handle messages and screen info to the appropriate person..
- Provide general information about the practice.
- Schedule appointments and assist the dentist with appointment scheduling.
- Schedule appointments for other health care practitioners.
- Schedule patient consultations with dentists or specialists., taking X-rays, laboratory work, and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by arranging equipment, supplies and instruments.
- Record results of patient examinations, treatments, diagnoses and recommendations in patient files.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
