Benefits and Compensation for our Bilingual Dental Assistant:

• Location: Westlake, Los Angeles
• Starting Rate: $20/hr
• Benefits: Medical and Dental coverage (at no cost to you), Paid Holidays, Personal Days, Vacation, Sick Leave (10 days per year), 403 B Retirement Plan with 2% employer match after one year of employment
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM

Key Responsibilities for our Bilingual Dental Assistant:

• Assist the dentist during procedures and perform tasks such as taking impressions or applying fluoride treatments.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) to help the dentist diagnose and treat dental problems accurately.
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe dental environment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and answer any questions they may have about their dental health.
• Make temporary restorations, such as temporary crowns or fillings.
• Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory, including ensuring that all instruments are cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish, ensuring that they understand their treatment options and can make informed decisions about their oral health.

Qualifications for our Bilingual Dental Assistant:

• Dental Assistant certification and a minimum of 1-year experience in a related field.
• Recent Dental Assistant experience (within the last 6 months).
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Current X-Ray Dental Certificate and CPR certification.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Must pass a full background check.
• Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations, including primary series and booster dose when eligible.
