Dental Hygienist Smithtown, NY

We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our family dental practice full time in Smithtown, NY. As a Dental Hygienist, you will have the opportunity to put your career front and center! Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, outgoing, has exceptional skills, and has prior dental hygienist experience. The incoming RDH will focus mainly on general RDH duties such as reviewing medical histories, X-Rays if necessary, Scale and Prophylaxis, Fluoride Treatment, evaluate overall oral health, and Bleaching.

Skills/Tasks:

• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
• Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
• Outstanding communication skills
• A patient and friendly personality
• Attention to detail
• Diploma in Dental Hygiene
• Valid licensed RDH in NY
• 2 years’ experience preferred

Compensation (range):

• $45 - $50 per hour
