As a Disbursement Department Team Lead, you'll be responsible for the growth and development of your team, driving best practices and building world-class team performance. You will play a very important and key role in protecting the company against any legal title claims.
This positing is fully in-office located at our Seattle, Washington Headquarters.
The Role:

Build, train and manage a team of escrow professionals responsible for ensuring that the transactions are disbursed timely and accurately within the Western Region, including California, Washington and Colorado.

Provide assistance to our East Coast Escrow team as needed.

Analyze and audit internal controls and procedures, making sure the department is running in the most efficient manner and sustaining the necessary quality control points.

Review and recommend best practices, process improvements, and inter-departmental procedural changes to address compliance and risk issues across the organization.

Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team and culture within your department focused on achieving organizational goals.

Assist with audits as well as other state department of insurance reporting requirements.

Proactively monitor reports and data to recognize potential performance concerns or areas for improvement.

Provide guidance to the team on difficult situations and work to resolve them.

Address urgent bank matters such as returned wires, short payoffs, and potential OFAC hits

Be the the subject matter expert for the West Coast Markets such as partnering with West Coast Market Managers to align on policies and procedures

Lead weekly team meetings and review and address individual team performance.

Research and assist team members when escalations occur which are not limited to working through issues with customers and/or closing teams to find a resolution.

Cover workflow for teammates during vacations and sick time

Attend trainings and keep informed of changing trust account regulations
Skills and Experience:
-
3-5 years experience managing a team of people is preferred.

3-5 years of escrow disbursement experience is required.

Qualia, Tableau, GSuite, knowledge is helpful

Customer Service Experience: Professional, who understands the importance of excellent customer service, has strong written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience building and leading a team in a rapidly changing environment, and managing performance to high standards

Experience with developing key metrics to measure performance and creating/maintaining reports

Ability to perform in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment.

Data and Report Management: You have strong analytical skills and can identify trends, gaps, and improvements through regular review of data and reports available.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements in Colorado, New York, New Jersey, Washington, and California.
Base Pay Range: $70,000.00 - 104,800.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Depending on the position, compensation may also include commissions, bonuses, and equity.
