SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all data management, office and administrative assistance for the Development department.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the donation process, which includes recording gifts daily (cash, check, online, EFT, stocks, gifts in kind, ticket purchases) in compliance with ECS Gift Processing policy utilizing Raisers Edge fundraising database software; Produce donation acknowledgements daily; maintain and update donor records and ensure quality and integrity of all donor/prospect data.
- Demonstrate personal initiative to establish effective and efficient office systems and procedures (e.g., electronic filing, workflows).
- Generate complex custom queries and reports from Raisers Edge as needed.
- Design and program reports to meet the information needs of the department.
- Work in collaboration with the organizations Data and Analytics Department.
- Creates a department dashboard with Key Performance Indicators that is updated monthly and helps inform and guide the team and board of directors on funding progress.
- Reconcile Raisers Edge records with Controllers General Ledger accounting monthly; provide support and documentation to Finance regarding donations and donors.
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries with tact and professionalism and refer to appropriate staff.
- Conducts donor and foundation research with initiative and upon request.
- Provides administrative assistance to the Director of Development and Associate Director of Development
- Assists with end of calendar year in-kind giving drive.
- Assists with administrative duties for all donor centric events by managing attendee lists, general attendee correspondence, raisers edge touch point updates, and logistical needs.
- Manages the Development office space by ensuring adequate office supplies and organized shared spaces.
- Backup to Development and Events Coordinator.
- Performs additional responsibilities as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Raisers Edge or Salesforce database.
- Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office for Windows programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Works well independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Professional telephone manner, ability to interact with donors and others in a comfortable and professional manner.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive materials professionally and according to agency policy.
- Team player, interested in the field of fund development.
- Commitment to the mission of ECS and sensitive to the population served and challenges faced by staff.
- Cultural competency working with a mixed and dynamic workforce.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university preferred, or equivalent development and database management experience.
Other:
Must secure figure image screening and annual TB screening as a condition of employment. Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position, which may include long periods of sitting at a desk and/or computer station; lifting items that weigh up to 40 pounds; and reaching, bending, and stooping within the daily routine of task and activities. Will honor and abide by the rules of confidentiality. Must be able to show proof of COVID vaccination, including booster.

Pay: $28.49 - $29.30 per hour
