Position Overview
We are currently seeking Mechanic candidates for our shop in Rochester Mills, PA who are upbeat, energetic, self-starters who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Diagnosing and repairing heavy and medium-duty trucks
- General maintenance and repairs of equipment
- Performs work efficiently and effectively
- Communicate mechanical issues with the service manager
- Perform inspections on tractors, trailers, and automotive vehicles
- Able to travel to perform on road repairs as needed
- Tire and brake repairs
- Willingness and ability to learn vehicle computer diagnostics
- Rebuild and repair of PTOs and fuel pumps
Qualifications and Skills:
- Mechanical and technical abilities
- Experience with commercial diesel trucks
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Knowledge in electrical diagnostics and repairs
- CDL preferred
- State Inspection License preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Own basic hand tools
- Must be able to balance multiple responsibilities.
