Job Summary:
We are currently searching for a digital content writer. Within this role, you’ll research and write original copy and/or edit copy for a wide range of marketing materials (e.g., internal/external communications, email marketing, sales materials, website content, and social media).
Essential functions:
- Research client industries through reputable sources, studies, and online articles
- Write clear and concise copy for websites, blogs, emails, social media, and many other mediums
- Review and edit existing content for spelling, grammar, tone, and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to develop aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly website content
- Work alongside SEO specialists to develop engaging and SEO-friendly content
- Interview and speak to customers about their role and responsibilities
- Produce content for use in marketing materials such as print materials, emails, social media, and more
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent understanding of spelling and grammar rules
- Capable of following a style guide to ensure consistency
- Capable of communicating clearly through written and oral forms
- Works well in a creative, collaborative team and independently
- Able to meet strict deadlines
- Portfolio showcasing related work
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or another related field
- 3-5 years of experience in content writing or a related position
- Sitting for more than 6 hours a day
- Standing and walking for less than 1 hour per day
- Limited stooping and bending, and twisting
- Frequent lifting up to 3 kilograms
