Digital Graphic Designer - West Elm Job at West Elm
West Elm is seeking a highly motivated Digital Graphic Designer to help drive creative look and feel across West Elm and West Elm Kids digital channels. This role is responsible the design of the West Elm homepage, feature pages and editorials, as well as other seasonal campaigns and digital marketing assets. You’ll work closely with art directors, content and photo teams on a wide variety of digital projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of photography, layout, type, and an attention to detail.
Overview/Responsibilities:
- Curate and design monthly homepages, editorial pages, and other seasonal marketing assets across site, email and social.
- Concept and design digital marketing assets to support seasonal campaigns including look books, landing pages, video and animations.
- Have a skilled eye for editorial layout and for photo editing
- Partner with content and social teams to elevate and evolve brand storytelling in layout and bring new ideas to the brand
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to create digital solutions that take all aspects of the consumer experience into consideration and meet high-level business needs
- Help develop West Elm Kids look and feel across all marketing channels
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines for West Elm and West Elm Kids. Ensure brand continuity in visual messaging across all marketing channels.
- Work with Creative Managers and Ops teams to manage design and creative deliverables on schedule
- Work with print designers to ensure cohesive experience across digital and retail experiences
- Identify new opportunities to elevate our brand in the digital and retail
- Stay up to date on best practices, and basic UX/UI.
Skills + Requirements:
- 3+ years experience
- Excellent layout and photo editing skills
- Editorial, luxury, fashion background a plus
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Video and animation skills preferred
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles
- Proactive, outgoing, and self-driven
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Very organized, detail-oriented
- Hard work ethic, desire to learn and grow
- Ability to multi-task under tight timelines

The expected starting pay range for this position is $60,600.00 -$71,800.00 . Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
