Position Summary:
Interface Americas is seeking an Activation Associate to execute digital marketing projects through completion. Position requires an intelligent self-starter with positive attitude and diligent work ethic. The Activation Associate will support the Americas digital marketing team through providing much needed hands-on expertise across digital systems and tools.
Educational Requirements:
College degree required (consideration will be given to three years work in a similar position)
Skills and Experience:
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience with the ability to set goals, coordinate internal and external resources, analyze project data, and communicate project status and results required
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and deliver on deadlines required
  • Excellent analytical skills required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Self-starter with proactive and conscientious approach to work required
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and to collaborate with internal and external resources required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Experience Manager (or other digital asset management tools), Salesforce Commerce Cloud (or other ecommerce platforms), social media management tools, marketing automation tools; certifications a plus
  • Active user of social media preferred
  • Photoshop preferred
  • Strong proofreading and grammar skills preferred
  • Experience in CRM a plus
  • Understanding of company brand standards a plus
Essential Duties:
  • Maintain the quality of content on the website through completion of various tasks:
    • Monitor feedback form, document new issues and route to appropriate team members to address each issue
    • Work heavily in digital asset management tool to maintain image tagging, folder structure and support clean-up efforts
    • Build new content pages and update existing content as needed
    • Troubleshoot digital assets used across website, including images, pdfs and videos
    • Support product data issues through website commerce platform
    • Participate in new product launch activities and testing
    • Document instructions for the use of new web systems for future training purposes
    • Participate in User Acceptance Testing for ongoing website releases
  • Execute marketing automation projects through:
    • Build emails, segments, forms and campaigns in marketing automation tool
    • Manage interface.com inbox including forward messages to appropriate contact, delete bounce backs and out-of-office notifications and update subscriber contact information within Eloqua and CRM as requested
    • Create tracking links for digital communications as requested
  • Write and edit short-form marketing copy used across the website, emails and social media
  • Provide support for social media activations, including:
    • Following the editorial calendar, schedule posts across all social channels through publishing tool
    • Monitor social inbox and route or respond to inbound inquiries
    • Coordinate publishing of blog articles, including formatting, image sizing and SEO best practices
    • Monitor blog for updates needed, facilitate bug-fixes, ensure all is working smoothly
  • Understand and adhere to global brand standards
  • Create and follow through on project/task timelines based on the requested date and resources available, ensuring proper communication of status to all stakeholders throughout the process
  • Communicate status of projects proactively on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain accountability throughout each project/task timeline from initiation to completion
  • Manage all other projects and/or provide project support as requested
  • Maintain housekeeping
  • Comply with safety rules
  • Comply with environmental regulations
  • Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

Work environment:
Office environment and marketing events at various off-site locations as needed. Travel estimated at 10%. Travel requirements will occasionally include evenings and weekends.
