Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field that requires strong writing skills required.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficient in corporate social media digital content and reputation management. Excellent skills in various social media platforms including Hootsuite. Ability to utilize real-time analytics to measure applicable data. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to prioritize work and/or multi-task to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to participate in weekend or evening shoots, as needed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Manages and monitors digital marketing activities. Contributes digital content for social, web and other digital initiatives including copy writing, basic photography and relevant collateral. Drives strategy and ensures marketing goals and objectives are being met using internal and external data. Provides traffic and trend reports and makes recommendations for tactical changes. Engages with community partners, monitors social posts, acknowledges and responds to followers within HIPAA guidelines, assists in facilitating internal follow-up action or responses, if needed. Performs other responsibilities as assigned including providing on-call response, as needed.
Decision Making: The carrying out of non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with general instructions from supervisor.
Working Relationships: Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
