Digital Marketing Specialist Job at Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating, curating, and improving the Credit Union’s online brand and advertising presence. This includes establishing goals and strategies, determining resource and channel requirements, audiences, segmentation, performing testing, tracking response, reporting, analysis, and making recommendations and corresponding adjustments. The Digital Marketing Specialist works with an integrated team and marketing mix to successfully achieve the Credit Union’s and Marketing Department’s growth and member relationship goals.

Essential Duties:
Create and manage paid search advertising, remarketing, segmentation, testing, and organic search optimization efforts. Provide planning, reporting, analysis, and recommendations for improving KPIs.
Create and manage paid social media advertising, work closely with content creators and business development team to drive measurable social media engagement.
Manage and work to improve online ratings and reviews, work with Senior Writer and Marketing Content Coordinator to respond to and follow up on reviews.
Create and manage location-based mobile advertising programs.
Work closely with Business Intelligence team to create and manage mechanisms for tracking performance to the point of conversion, and ROI (sales funnel).
Creation, execution, and management of email marketing campaigns and automations.
Work with Senior Writer and Web Designer to create optimized/custom landing pages and website search engine optimization strategies.
Responsible for contextual marketing in digital channels such as online and mobile banking; serve as a backup for email and text messaging distribution.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and key internal/external stakeholders.
Work cohesively with the marketing team to coordinate integrated advertising initiatives across all channels, including but not limited to print and email marketing.
Additional Duties:
Proactively monitor trends, innovations, competitors, and advise management accordingly.
Proactively evaluate tools and technologies, make recommendations accordingly.
Provide support at miscellaneous on-site and off-site marketing events as needed.
Additional miscellaneous tasks and other duties as assigned.
Working overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
Education & Experience:
3 to 5 years of similar or related experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required.
Previous experience in banking or financial services industry preferred.
Demonstrated problem solving, multitasking, ability to meet deadlines, to manage projects, and organization skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads, etc. certifications.
If driving for company business, must have a valid California driver’s license and proof of current insurance coverage.
Computer Skills:
Demonstrable, quantifiable expertise in PPC, SEO, re-marketing programs, social media advertising and engagement, and analysis and management tools.
Windows, Microsoft Office, search and social media ad platforms and analytics, Wordpress, search engine optimization, email marketing platforms such as Robohead, workflow management software such as Robohead.
Competency with handling and organizing computer files on a server, and with observing company policies and procedures for using computer equipment and software systems.
Physical Demands:
This is an office-based position with work from home potential. Traveling/driving to and working at remote locations is sometimes required. Reliable, predictable, on-time attendance is essential. The associate will spend most of the working time sitting, standing or walking, including significant time using computers. Light handling, transportation, and assembly of structures and materials related to marketing events is required. Position requires repetitive hand movements; the daily ability to focus on several tasks at one time, analyze data and draw conclusions, communicate with others in person, over the phone, and via electronic communications, and calmly and professionally communicate with members who are upset or angry. The position includes transporting and lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
