Digital Optimization Specialist, North America (OH)
The Digital Marketing / SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist is responsible for day-to-day inbound marketing strategies with a key focus on driving traffic to the IMCD Americas website(s), content management and delivering best-in-class customer experiences throughout multiple digital channels with the overall objective to generate Marketing Qualified Leads for Sales teams.
This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager, North America (United States) and has a dotted line report into the Group Director Digital Marketing (Netherlands), supporting the following North American countries: United States and Canada
- Excellent SEO understanding and hands-on experience in on-page & off-page SEO.
- Strong track record in lead generation and achieving business growth through Inbound Marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of Digital Marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search console, Hotjar, Semrush, Screaming Frog etc.
- Analytical skills with a proven ability to drive initiatives and conversion optimization through data insights.
- Hands-on Marketing Automation experience is a plus Pardot is ideal).
- 1 yr of User experience in working with Content Management Systems (Sitecore is a plus)
- Mastery level read/write HTML and CSS is a plus.

- Execute inbound marketing strategies to attract visitors to our website, create value added customer experiences and generate Marketing Qualified Leads for Sales.
- Define local SEO & SEA (Search Engine Advertising) strategy, conduct keyword research, advise and collaborate with local stakeholders on required content creation and execute on-page & off-page optimization.
- Optimize conversions and lead generation at every touchpoint in the buyer journey through personalization, A/B testing and page optimization.
- Content management and maintenance of our website(s), closely collaborate with Group and local stakeholders
- Collaborates to set up appealing webpages and landing pages.
- Advise and collaborate with local country Marketing Automation Managers in setting up and driving integrated multi-channel campaigns, customer journeys, lead nurturing programs and value-added content strategies.
- Identify trends and customer insights to continuously optimize multi-channel conversions, spending and performance through data-driven decisions.
- Grow Digital Marketing in the organization through educating stakeholders and advising them on market trends and potential as evidenced by increased leads, increased access for customers to meaningful information (Salesforce), and increased website traffic.
- Initiate customer-centric ideas for further development of value-added functionalities and components on the website.
- Closely collaborate with global colleagues on inbound strategies, website development, data analysis, planning and priorities.
- Partner with local country Marketing Managers to track, measure and report (on a monthly basis) performance impact of all campaigns and activities, and reporting out quantifiable metrics reflective of campaign ROI and success against KPIs.
- Act as the key point of contact for all local Digital Marketing and website related questions.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business (w/mktg Minor), or other relevant degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and accountability- Experience demonstrative of ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- 1 Yr Search Engine Optimization and Advertising
Preferred Education and Experience:
Spanish proficiency is preferred though not required
