Dining Room Manager Job at Rye Plaza
Seeking a hospitality professional to join our team as a Dining Room Manager at Rye Plaza located on the Country Club Plaza. Locally owned & chef-driven Rye Restaurant focuses on Midwestern cuisine & culture. Our chefs source seasonal and sustainable products from local farmers and purveyors to create menus for lunch, dinner, & weekend brunch. Our beverage team also hosts a wide selection of craft beers on tap, creative and exciting cocktails, and a carefully selected reserve wine list.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum 2 years of experience as a salaried manager in a high volume, full service restaurant.
- Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits with the ability to educate service staff and make pairing recommendations for guests. Great wine knowledge & experience with wine service is necessary for this position.
- Basic computer skills including, but not limited to; Microsoft Excel & Word, Adobe Illustrator, Micros POS, and Tock reservations.
- High level of hospitality and customer service standards.
- Experience with leading, mentoring and managing staff members to execute high standards of service & hospitality.
- Ability to function and solve problems in high stress situations with a professional attitude.
- Full time availability, 8-10 hours per day, five days per week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
