Salary Range: $58,000 - $62,000 annually plus bonus potential!

What you will do

The Dining Room Manager is an exciting opportunity for an energetic person who is seeking a career avenue in the food service industry. This position is responsible for assisting in the successful operation and superior customer service of the dining services department within an upscale continued care retirement community. The dining services are run similarly to a country club.

• Will help ensure client/customer service and satisfaction with efficient, cost-effective management meeting and exceeding stated expectations.
• Assists with the responsibility for all food service-related activities and be primarily involved in resident meal service in a seated dining room setting, including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and all facility-related activities.
• Provides expert experience in training (front-of-house service) and has strong supervisory experience in food service operations.
• Has knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Ability to communicate on various levels including management, client, customer, and associate levels.

What you will need

• A.A. Degree or related experience, preferred.
• Previous experience at a country club, upscale dining establishment, or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
• ServSafe® Certified.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills including various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail, and the Internet.
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check (State and Federal) and a drug screen.
