JOB DESCRIPTION:

A warm, welcoming server who will serve food and beverages to seniors and guests while creating pleasant dining experiences. They will be professional by greeting and seating residents and guests as they enter the restaurant/dining area and take their menu orders. Their duties are to ensure the delivery of food and beverages in a timely manner. They will dazzle the residents and guests with engaging conversation to create an exceptional dining experience.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Provide excellent customer services.
• Arrange table settings.
• Serve residents and guests as they arrive in the dining room at serving times.
• Make suggestions based on their preferences.
• Take and serve food/drinks ensures that dietary restrictions of each resident are adhered to orders.
• Ensures that dietary restrictions of each resident are adhered to.
• Delivers food and beverages accurately to each table.
• Monitors beverages and refreshes them as needed throughout the meal.
• Wear the proper uniform.
• Prepare dining room and service areas before each meal.
• Buss tables during meals.
• Clean and reset dining room after each meal.
• Clean and organize service area after each meal.
• Store and label food properly for infection control.
• Record meal counts after each meal.
• Clean equipment and work areas according to schedule.
• Report any on-the-job injuries to your supervisor immediately.
• Practice safety in working with and around kitchen equipment.
• Develop good working relationships with employees, residents, families, and visitors.
• Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.

• Prior work experience as a server is preferable.

• Ability to learn quickly on the job.
